INSAFSIZ YILLAR (RUTHLESS YEARS) READY-TO-WEAR ARTİSANAL COLLECTION 2023/24

This collection is inspired by the years. The years that gave us scars, the years that made us fall apart! I wanted to conceptualize the pain behind each hustler with this collection. I started developing designs where I partly eliminated all closings like, buttons etc. I captured the moment when you’re so done with life that you can’t even close the buttons of your blazer! For this season I worked a lot with the arabesque culture from Turkey. The LGBTQ+ community, immigrants, women, Muslims, my path and stories of strong folks who struggled a lot trough life shaped the collection. Since Guovarde is a label and platform for fearless, non-conforming folks we wanted to rise attention and appreciate the folks who dare to be themselves no matter what. So the whole concept signifies the pain and frustration behind each hustler´s way of life.
